I decry this overarching Canadian Imperialism! But, yeah, sounds good right about now.

Thanks, unfortunately, both these restaurants have now closed.

Really? I’m sure So’s was open when I walked past on Sunday?

I had to Google what Poutine is. At first I thought you'd misspelled Poontang (there are A LOT of poontang stands still open, by the way).

Now I'm also curious to find somewhere I can try Poutine.

Unless the location is wrong, Notes and whatever was on its left is very closed at the moment.

I was there tonight at 8pm.

Oh dear, oh dear that’s sad to hear. I’ve been going to both for years now. I’ve spent god knows how many hours of my life around there

Thai girls in lingerie playing hockey while eating poutine would be Nirvana.

Change that to curling and you'd have something special. :-)

TG's hollering "Hard! Hurry Hard!" Yeah, I could get used to that.

If you are in the mood to cook your own, Villa Market carries Poutine. No guarantee it will be there every day, but I have noticed it in the cooler with the bacon and sausages (aisle 1 on the left as you enter). I was familiar with it as it is used in a few Creole dishes, which were indeed imported from Canada along the way.
