This weekend the Pattaya City Traffic Police Inspector Major Arut Sapanon told The Pattaya News “We do normally patrol around the area of concern and often take enforcement on vehicles parked illegally.”

This has been an ongoing problem for years and I've never seen the BIB take any enforcement action. I've also personally seen those in wheelchairs having to use the road to get around parked cars and motorbikes while the vehicle owners watch from the shop their parked in front of. Selfish cunts that have no shame.

Could the issue be the lack of painted on road signs so some drivers are aware of the paths? I’m not a resident but I’ve never even seen these marked paths when on holidays.
It couldn’t be that difficult to pain the wheelchair sign every 10m or so on these designated paths.
That being said TIT and it’s not like the vast majority simply ignore each and every sign post, lane marking, speed limit etc etc.

The footpath does have painted wheelchair markings on the footpath. The car parked on top of one them.

I’m not doubting you or your pic mate, and when I look closer the driver pretty much steps out onto it, as I said, the Thais do simply ignore signs and markings.
