A few of us took a mini bus there a few years ago, there was 3 of us and we took 3 ladies as well so there was 6 in total. I'm not sure what we paid but 2000-3000B between us sounds about right. If my memory serves right it took about 2 hours to get there and he dropped us off right at the pier for the ferry. I loved Koh Chang and when your there you have to get a motorbike and explore the island.

About ฿4000 each way for a private minibus. Only way to go if you're going with a group six or more. No way I'm sharing a minibus with some smelly backpackers for four hours.

Well i am quite the party guy my self, but spending 3 weeks in Pattaya can sometimes be a bit to much.

Going to Koh Samet or Koh Chang for a couple of days, enjoying the sun and the beaches(water) is never wrong(at least not in my book)

Hey Matrix, any chance you will be doing a TR about Chang?

It was one of about 3 island spots recommended to me in a thread I posted recently (for a trip this summer).

I am very interested in your impressions as my purpose is to "get away" with a non-p4p girl I have kown for a while and just want to chill with her for a few days after an all out ballbuster 3 week romp in pattaya (yes, she knows i play, doesnt like it, but tolerates it with a smile, i am sure hoping she will reform me, and she just might...thats why im tacking it on on the end of my trip).

As always, either way, much respect, Alex
