Which cell phone network do you recommend?

I've read most of these older cell phone threads, but I just need some reassurance that the same info still applies. I just purchased an UNLOCKED QUAD-BAND MOTOROLA V190 GSM CELL PHONE. I plan on buying a SIM card for it at the Bangkok airport. I understand that cards are about 100 bt, and that I can can "top up" for 200 bt. What I don't know is...

1) how many minutes would 200 baht get me?

2) which network has the most reach in Thailand for the lowest cost per minute (1-2-CALL, Happy...)?

3) Could they still be talked down to 50 Satang per min (isn't that less than 1 US cent?!) as was stated in one thread?

4) Will the MOTOROLA I bought work well with any/all of the networks?

Thanks

BTW. Probably wasn't supposed to start a new thread for this, but I've had this same question posted in a couple of other threads for a while now with no response. Figured the subject could be updated, too.

Why not just bump your old thread? :GoldenSmile1:

D-Tac (Happy network) Sim card will keep you right. Thats the preferred choice for Thai business folk (that I know).

Just make sure you are using 009 before dialling international telephone numbers.

ie. for a UK number 0044 (0)161 123 1234

you would diall 009 44 161 123 1234

I cant tell you how much per unit it is, but you get about 3 times better value than I was getting using the standard international dialling codes.

If you are concerned about internal calling prices, then dont. It could not be cheaper.

Not my threads to bounce. If bouncing means responding to an old thread to bring it to the top, that's what I had already tried, which didn't work. If there's a better way, let me know.
