Any experience with the Grand Palazzo?

Pretty much what it says on the tin. Wondering if anyone's stayed here, and, if so, what you thought about it.

I haven’t stayed there, but walked past it on many occasions my way to Diana driving range. Pre Coronavirus, it was Wall to Wall with Chinese tour groups. It’s probably the most affordable 5 star hotel in town.

As the previous poster has said, it's mostly Chinese tourists. That said, rooms were decent enough, the view from the balcony is nice. The breakfast is nothing special, but I don't care about that as I never eat hotel breakfast anyway. It was girl friendly during my stay, though there's an age limit apparently - guests must be over 20 - had one lady get rejected by reception because she was 19.

It's not really a 5 start hotel, but I'd call it a decent 4 star - and indeed, the price was pretty decent during my stay. All told, I'd be willing to go back.
