Hi All,

           I’m in Bangkok now. I want to go to Phnom Penh by road. I have never done this before. Can someone please tell me the quickest (shortest) way to do this in two days?

I know there are several border checkpoints between the two countries. 

Koh Kong is one, but I don’t *think it’s the shortest way to get to P.P.

There’s Poipet and Aranyapatet (sp?) - Aranyapatet, if my spelling’s wrong, is the usual visa run place where people go.

So, there’s 3. Which one is best, please? Is there a better road option I don’t know about?
 

*I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this trip.* Assumptions are often mistaken.
 

Please note, I’m not healthy, I can’t handle scam artists, rip offs, liars, aggression, etc. at the border (or anywhere else) I just need things to be as hassle-free as possible. Poipet is a dangerous place, am I wrong? A decent road, especially on the Cambodian side, would really be nice.

Get a bus from Ekkamai bus station ,about 13 hours  ,
