Motorbike stolen from kind-hearted English Man who stops to help at road accident

Just after 1.30 on Tuesday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Pratip from Pattaya Police Station was called to the North Pattaya Road opposite the Mantra Pura hotel to investigate the theft of a motorbike. At the scene officers were met by Mr. George aged 62 from England who was extremely angry as a kind gesture resulted in the theft of his bike. He revealed that he was driving his motorbike along the road when he spotted a motorbike had fallen on the floor and the driver was struggling to get their bike started again. Mr. George decided to stop to offer assistance and parked up but left the key in the ignition of his motorbike. Two men on a further bike pulled up close to Mr. George who thought they had stopped to assist as well. In fact, they had spotted Mr. George’s bike and intended to steal it which is what happened moments after the pair arrived. Mr. George was taken to Pattaya Police Station where he made a report of the incident and his bike now joins an ever increasing list of stolen bikes here in the Pattaya area.
