USB Bluetooth dongle

I'm having to replace my old Logitech headphones... they are USB connected.

I'm looking at switching to Bluetooth using a dongle for my PC to connect headphones at home, and then I can use the same Bluetooth headphones with my IPad mini when I come to LOS.

Avantree USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter Dongle for PC

Does that make sense?

As for the actual Bluetooth headphones, I'm unsure. I like the over-the-ear type, but they will take up too much room in my carryon, so I'm tempted to use earbuds of some sort.

Suggestions?

I just did some research on Amazon and I find that wireless earbuds need to be charged. Duh!  I should have figured that out. Anyhow, I'm not fond of having to charge things. I have enough problems remembering to charge my phone.

I guess, when I boiled it all down, I want a set of over-the-ear headphones for home PC use, and I'll find earbuds to use in my IPad mini closer to the time of my trip.

Bose QC20 noise cancelling earphones connected to a Fiio Bluetooth adapter is what I use. The Fiio remotely controls the playback device as well which is also from Fiio but it will control pretty much any Android device.

Thanks for the suggestion, but way beyond my budget.

You should be looking at a USB Bluetooth v5.0 Adapter
