Whats about to happen in Thailand?

I noticed over the last few weeks, more and more fighter planes are being taken out for a practise...

 

Today on the way to work I seen a large army convoy including six very large anti-aircraft guns (i think) on the back of 6 large trailers.

 

Then 10 minutes later, I get to work and the army are standing on the road junction with machine guns?

 

I just wonder if something is happening or they are just a bit more active recently. Those guns were definitely leaving as they were heading in the opposite direction to the anti-aircraft airfield/base.

I was in Bang Saray recently, it sounded like the Navy were getting in a bit of target practise with some very large guns.

I came out of Lam Chabang port last week and military guys where on the junction under the overpass with M16 in hand.
