Food Wave. Royal Garden Plaza

Recommended Posts

Just got back from the above food court. It is on the top floor of the mall and promised over 1000 dishes from international destinations. It operates differently compared to the usual parks. I along with my tgf were each given a càrd with 1000 thb already applied. We were told it would get us a discount but a 10% service charge would apply.

Anyway the food was pretty average. You order and pay with the card as usual but they bring the food to you. I guess it being very quiet up there meant locating customers was easy.

The view was of the beach and bay so very nice. The food was overpriced. We paid 650thb for the following:

Two naans, som tam, laab phet , sticky rice, watermelon smoothy and plain water.

You settle up when you leave.

They only two things that I liked were the view and the quiet.

For me this was a " first time last time " visit.

True it´s expensive, but sometimes I like to go and eat there just to get away from the cheap charlie chinese crowds! :D

Which food court do members prefer? I have been to several including those in the supermarkets as well as central and t21. Right now t21 is for me the best in terms of overall experience as well as value and quality.

I too like Terminal 21 food court. They have a very large selection and very reasonable prices. It is a long ride from my condo in Jomtien beach but worth the trip once a week. No beach view but people watching can be interesting and I like to wander around the different floors in Terminal 21. Highly recommended!
