Gold Shop Police Training Exercise

7-Eleven

Recommended Posts

On Thursday Afternoon, and as part of an ongoing training program for Pattaya Police Officers, Police Colonel Sarayut organized an exercise which simulated an armed Gold Shop robbery. The exercise took place at the Tong Oothai Gold Shop located on the Central Pattaya Road and began with the armed assailant, who was in fact a Pattaya Police Officer, who entered the shop and forced the shop owner to hand over a gold necklace at gun point. The thief then left and the Police were called. A Police patrol soon arrived who in-turn informed a senior officer who came to document the robbery. According to the Colonel the exercise was a success apart from one thing. During the exercise someone blocked the Police radio frequency with a high pitched sound which meant that radio communication was not possible and mobile phones had to be used instead. The angry Colonel promised to track down the person responsible and arrest them in due course.

Oh that gives me confidence with my impending wedding purchases.

I don't buy out the bar, I buy the nightspot.
