Woman seriously injured in Container Truck versus Motorbike crash on the Sukumvit Road

We rushed to the scene of a serious road accident on Thursday Evening which occurred on the Sukumvit Road junction with Highway 36 which leads to Rayong Province. The accident involved a container truck and a motorbike. The truck overturned as it entered the Sukumvit Road and drove too fast through a sharp curve leading to the Sukumvit Road, according to eye witnesses. The truck overturned and fell onto a bike driven by Khun Suwit aged 37. She sustained serious multiple injuries and was rushed to Banglamung Hospital and later transferred to Chonburi Hospital where doctors are now trying to save both her legs which were badly broken. The driver of the truck, realizing the severity of the crash and injuries sustained to the motorbike driver, decided it was not in his best interests to remain at the scene and ran away before authorities arrived. He is now being sought by Police and is expected to be arrested soon.
