What to expect in term of food, cleanliness and price ?

Are non Arabs / Muslim welcome ?

Hey Buddy,

Never eaten at Al Bahary but have eaten at  couple of the places on the soi opposite that goes towards Walking Street. The best was probably the Iranian restaurant called Reza. They have great lamb kebabs and a killer mixed grill served with salad and rice. Didn't get the shits after so assume it's clean! Prices in 300-500 baht bracket for a huge meal.

Wouldn't worry about safety either. Owner and other diners were very friendly although a few may have looked shifty! Fascinating people watching too as I saw plenty of middle eastern families with young kids and wives in burqas - makes you wonder why they come to Pattaya and what they make of it all!!!! Funniest thing was watching the men folk staring at the scantily clad bar girls on their way to work while their wives looked on meekly!
