what would be the easiest and cheapest way to transfer the house from my wifes name into my sons name.

Bought the house about 9 years ago and want to put it into my sons name now.

Your best bet is to contact the local Land Department as each office may follow different rules. Some offices insist the child is over 7 years others don't. Your wife is likely to be classified as Guardian until your son is 20.
