Renting a Sat Nav in Pattaya

Recommended Posts

Myself and Mrs Grazel are going to borrow a friends car and drive up to Roi Et in Early March to collect her kids and bring them for a weeks holiday in Pattaya.

Whilst I have downloaded a google map. I have had nightmares driving outside Pattaya and I can see me and the missus having many an argument over directions having previously only taken the bus up there.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200 with UK and Europe, but Garmin are very protective about their SD cards and I am told that I would have to pay about 14k baht in Tuc Com or such like to by a Thai map SD card.

So my questions are:

Does anyone know where I can hire/rent a Sat Nav in Pattaya without renting a car with it ???

Any one know where I can get an illegitimate SD car for my Garmin

Any kind soul out there (expat) who could lend me one for 3 days, with a few drinks bought for the privilege ??

I made this post a little while ago on another Forum, but it got thread fucked by the 3rd post and I am hoping to get some sensible replies here.

Thanks

G
