Royal Tycoon Place Hotel Pattaya

I stayed at the Tycoon Place hotel one month in 2019.
The monthly rate is 12000 Baht.

In addition, 1800 Baht for electricity and 500 Baht for water. The air conditioner ran about 6-8 hours a day with 22*.

Wifi was unstable at morningtime, the rest of the day ok (world of warcraft with a ping of 200).

In early 2018, the hotel was renovated and new mattresses purchased.

I lived on the 4th floor and had no noise pollution.

There is no safe in the room and no kettle and no microwave.
There is a safe at the front desk. I did not use it though.

For 500 baht you can store your luggage.

Room cleaning and towels daily.Bed linen once a week.

Bar girls have to hand in their ID card at the reception.

The location:
South Pattayaroad Soi 9.First comes the Tukcom then Friendshipmarket and then the Soi 9.

For this price I can recommend the tycoon.

The name Royal Tycoon hotel for 460b a day confused me initially because they somehow didn’t match. I sure it’s a nice place.

Living sober, clean and staying away from loose women doesn't make a man live any longer. It just fucking feels like it.

I used to stay here for many years, until the owners sold/leased it to Indians and they added "Royal" to the name and hiked the monthly cost from 8000 to 12000 baht!

What I´ve seen, mostly Indian groups stay here now, and knowing how noisy they can be in the rooms and hallways I decided to change accomodation!

Stayed there about 4 years ago. Indians sitting there counting all the ketchup, sugar etc mooched from different food chains and jumping into the pool without worrying about the shower. Not impressed. Ended up spending most of the day when not house hunting at Walkabout creek.

As much as I love all things Australian, I got to get me action of the asian persuasian.

During the renovation, the Indians moved into the tycoon suite

When the Indians took over Tycoon Place I moved into Tycoon Suite across the soi, and stayed there for a few years until 2017,

... and moved again when the Indians invaded that place as well!

Pity as I liked the Tycoon serviced apartments, they were my regular places to stay for over 10 years/trips !

The location was great near to everything including :

fresh market, Soi Bua Khao Tue/Fri market, Friendship Supermarket, Tuk.com with Tops Supermarket

and within easy walk to Walking Street as well (15 min).

Not really a hotel if you have to pay extra for power and water is it.

It´s a "Serviced Apartment".

You only pay for electric and water if you stay for one month or longer, shorter stay you only pay for room same like a hotel.
