VPN Settings for 3BB ADSL Box?

My rental condo has an ADSL box from 3BB for the net connection. My VPN is not connecting when using L2TP. The box is probably blocking the necessary port. I can experiment with different settings, but does anyone know offhand the type of VPN setting that works with a 3BB box? Thanks.

 

• Router 1 Port WiFi
• NT3BB-1PWN-124
• ADSL2/2 Router 1 Port LAN

Maybe try to login to the router and then disable any firewall settings?

I thought of that after I posted the message. However, since this place is a rental, the login was password protected (default id/pwd written on the bottom didn't work).

OK, so I mentioned the problem to the condo owner and they got a new ADSL box from 3BB. Just tried the VPN and it works now! Ran a quick speedtest and the results went from 9 Mbps down/1 up to 33 down/5 up.

take the box to any 3BB shop which are all over the place. They should help.
