Can someone translate this commonly heard Thai word please?

There's a word I hear all the time when listening to Thais speak, so it must be something very common and useful to know. I don't know how its written, only how it sounds.

It sounds like "lagor" or "la gaw-er". 

 

Anyone ?

แล้วก็ - laew gor

It means “and” or “and then”, so yeah, it’s a word you’ll hear often.

Especially when someone is telling a story: I woke up “laew gor” took a shower “laew gor” got dressed, etc, etc.

You sure its not "talod" ?    (that means always/every time)

Thanks all. Pretty certain it is talung, she does smile when she says it. By way of explanation she indicated that in private ok. I am very well behaved in public.
