Taxi fare from DMK

Been so long , what is the ball park fare from DMK to Nana area in a meter taxi ?

Last year in June it was about 400+ tolls.

Traveled in the afternoon & the traffic on Sukhumvit was horrendous though.

Drivers will ask 500 bahts fixed fare.

Insist on meter and the cost is quite a bit less.

If driver will not agree to use meter, just go to the next taxi in the queue.

Propably the fastest way is to get the shuttle bus from DMK to Mo Chit and then use BTS to go to the Nana area. Cost maximum 100bht and very convenient in the high traffic.

Last time I was in DMK (18 months ago) there was a Skytrain rail system under construction and it looked like close to completion.  Is there not a Skytrain from DMK now?

I think it’s due to open in 2020.

On the meter with reasonable traffic about 250 baht.  If you take the toll road about 120 extra.

Not practical with baggage.... I don't travel light
