Jomtien Where To Stay Short/Longtime (Cheap, Budget, Monthly, Daily Hotels, GH, GF)

I found much information about hotels & guesthouses in Pattaya, I'd also would like to have some adresses of gf-hotels not too far from the action and beach in the Jomtien-area, I'm looking for daily and monthly rates (as I'm planning to stay longtime).I'm fully aware of the fact Pattaya is "different" than Jomtien, so this threat is not a "why should anyone prefer Jomtien over Pattaya?" threat.. :Cool_Pics: ...

I like the beach and I guess Jomtien atmosphere is a bit more relaxed comparing it to Pattaya. It will be my first visit to Pattaya and I like to take it easy at some point as I like to relax at the beach and I know Pattaya will be overwhelming.Anyway, I'd just like to have some adresses in Jomtien :Grin3:

So I'm looking for a gf-hotel/guesthouse/condo, not too expensive (max. 15.000 monthly, I prefer a cheaper rate if possible..) not too far off the action as I'm planning to have a girl over now and then, near the beach. I'm not sure if there even are "budget" accomodations in that area? This is what I already found:

http://www.view-talay-condos.net/ (Anyone got some experience with this organisation? Good or bad points?) It seems like these are well-known appartments (since there are so many).Let me know.. :Buddy1:

If anyone has some info, some advise where to stay or experience with Jomtien-places, please let me know. You can also PM me anytime! :D

I wish I could help as I have rented a VT1 condo from bm Dancewatchers and have never stayed in Jomtien. I'll be watching your post though.

I've stayed with Dancewatcher at View Talay 2A in Jomtien three times and swear by him and the place. Perfect for me.

I've never stayed in Patts, always Jomtien. Been to a few places in Jomtien, a full serviec hotel, a botique hotel and a guest house, DW's condos have been the best thus far.

Thanks guys!

I also did another search on the PA-forum and found these options:

http://www.pattayapropertyfinder.com/

http://www.thaiproperty.com/

http://www.fairproperties.com/

and ofcourse the condos from http://www.dancewatchers.com/ (already mentioned above).

I looked again how much baht I will be able to spend on accomodation and it probably will be about 10.000 a month, so less than I thought I could spend  ...

Well, I'm not worried 'bout that, I'll rent a cheap room and in the mean time find out if and which condo I'll be able to rent when in Jomtien...I'll be fine.. :)

If the above companies all can be trusted Im sure there must be some good places to stay at...right?

  • 4 months later...

I stayed in a little place behind the Blind Beggar / Winchester Club on Soi Wat Boon.

The room was perfect for me and the girlfriend & cost around 6500bht per month in 2006. It also included a kitchenette which saves you a lot of cash, as there's a good market further up the Soi towards the main road.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the place!!! Which is a complete downer as I originally found it on the net!!

Also, I want to stay again very soon, so if anyone can tell me the name of the gaff, I'd be totally in your debt & a couple of beers will be in order.

Thanks in advance for any useful info......Cheers.

Blunt....... :D
