Motorbike shops specialising in mufflers/exhausts

Looking to buy an aftermarket exhaust for a Honda CB300R, does anyone know a decent shop? Happy enough with a generic one, genuine pipes from the big brands are a little out of my price range. I guess the other requirement is a place where somebody could understand me when I ask for one.. My thai doesn't really extend to "link pipe", "aftermarket", "exhaust" etc. Anybody have any suggestions?

Motorcycle workshop on Soi baukaow 200 yds pass the Soi Diana intersection on the right hand side before Asia Backpackers hostel.

They do many custom accessories as well as fit them.

cheers, i did already try these guys... they understood what i wanted but only had genuine parts which were plenty expensive.  also tried x-speed on 3rd road, they had quite a few mufflers but not what i was after, also tried a few little shops around 3rd rd and pattaya tai.. but riding around could not see a specific shop, maybe there isn't one... but with the massive numbers of bikes going around which have after market mufflers on, they must be getting them from somewhere. 

might be a good suggestion to talk to the moto taxi guys, i will try that avenue.

That's weird...those guys on Soi Buakhao always turn original bikes into custom bikes with high-end parts that are not related to the original bike. Last month i saw them working on a scooter with a wide back tyre & custom exhaust.

Really weird they couldn't help you.

They could help sure, but the (extremely few) mufflers they had in stock were original Akrapovic and another brand (can't remember) which cost many thousands of baht... all I want is a basic Chinese made one, and someone to fit it... total cost, couple of thousand baht, job done. 

I think I will have to go to plan B which is order it from Ali Express and just put it on myself.

There's a big motorbike shop on 3rd Road between Klang and Nua called X Speed.  They are the biggest after market motorbike shop I've seen in Pattaya.  Give them a look.

Been there a few times in the last week, yes excellent shop and knowledgable staff.

Just to finish off this thread in case anyone in future is looking to do the same thing... 

I could not find the shop I wanted, best one I found was X-Speed which did have compatible mufflers but they were originals which were out of my price range. I did get a Chinese copy from Ali Express, about 1,500 baht delivered (took 2 weeks). Took it to X-Speed on 3rd Rd, was told I needed the linking piece which I did know, the muffler comes with a sort of adapter so you can weld on existing pipe, but I would rather get the specific link piece (there's a range of them in the shop, all clearly marked) so that now the exhaust is "slip on" compatible, should I want to buy a different one in future it is very simple to install, no welds needed. Link piece was 1000 baht. 

Anyway, 100 baht for the guys to install the exhaust, was out of there in 10 minutes. Very happy with it, can highly recommend X-Speed, big range of spares there, easy to find (you can't miss the shop it's huge), staff have decent English and plenty of parking.

A bit late I know but this may be of use to someone. Cheap parts and exhausts for many bikes mail ordered from Bangkok.
