BBQ scallop in pattaya

Hi all,

Will be visiting pattaya in about 3 weeks time.

Any information as to where can i get BBQ scallop?

I love scallops. Some (not all) of the open-air Thai Moo Gata BBQ places have them, though they are usually part of the "superior" ingredients for which you pay extra. Ninja in Jomtien has them, for example, as does the new place on Jomtien Beach Road near the corner of Chaiyapruek. Both around 300-400B.

For somewhere a bit more upmarket,  they used to have them in the Siam@Siam buffet (700B) along with a load of other things. Also the Kings(?) Table in Soi 13 used to have them in its Saturday evening BBQ (about 400B). Not sure if either is still the case.

Otherwise the market at Naklua would have them by the kilo, and there are people there who can cook them for you.

It's worth looking in any seafood buffet as scallops are the sort of thing they may or may not have, depending on availability and seasonal price.

Go to naklua seafood market 500b a kg and get them bbq'ed there bargain.

I've try scallops baked with chesse once at Patong Phuket.
