Flipper Lodge Soi 8

I see reviews on the Flipper House, but not the lodge. I chose it for the location and reports of it being guest friendly. The pictures show a nice pool as well. Anyone stay there recently? Currently have a "Superior" room in tower B. Google search mentions in room safes are now available, and that is pretty important to me. Price is about $45 per night.

I hate flipper. It was good 10 years ago but now hôtel is very old, too much noise, staff not very nice. I prefer go adelphi Pattaya which le much more better for same price...

It's a dump.Rock hard beds, sticky carpets, crap bathrooms....that was 10 yrs ago.God knows what it is like now.Better to stay Tweet Tweet Nest if pool is not important. If you need a pool then New Eastiny Plaza is a better choice than Flipper.

I stay here often never had a problem, the A wing was just refurbished last year and the B wing maybe 2 years ago. It can be a bit noisy at times but never been an issue for me. The beds are a bit hard but i find most beds in thailand are hard unless your staying in expensive hotels. As for bringing girls in, as long as they have there ID never had an issue.

Hmm.. mixed reviews, but mostly negative.  :(  Kojak, i read that the B wing was renovated and a decent stay. Our rooms should be there, assuming i keep the reservation.

I was recently in Pattaya and while Flipper Lodge isn't terrible there are better places out there for the price that you'll be paying, even if the location isn't quite as good. Rainsberger is right, April Suites is a much better place. The rooms are bigger, the entire hotel feels much newer, and you still get a relatively low price in Pattaya while also getting a better hotel. Flipper Lodge isn't a dump by any means, just there are better options for the money in Pattaya now.
