Royal Jordanian Air (HKG to BKK) Lounges

I am traveling from Chicago to Bangkok on Wednesday the 17th. I am on a combo of AA and RJ (Royal Jordanian).

This is the first time I am using RJ and it is just a short hop from HKG to BKK. I am in Business Class. I will put up a quick report on RJ.

Anybody around here ever use RJ? I checked their web site to find out about lounges in HKG, but they do not list HKG as a destination airport. Probably not a good sign.

I suspect I might be able to use a CX lounge because of my One World status.

Yes, RJ is part of One Word-  So if you are mid tier one world, you can use their business lounges in HK-  The best Biz Lounge in HK will be CX Pier Business Near gate 64..    Im usually in Pier 1st Class Lounge, but love the tea/juice bar located in the biz lounge

I used the RJ lounge near Gate 1.  No great shakes, but not bad either. They share it with a few other firms like credit card companies and another airline. I was able to grab a shower and get out of the crowd for an hour. Chow was eh, but I wasn't hungry.

The RJ Business flight to BKK was ok. I would use it again for the short hop from HKG. Not so sure that I would use it for a long haul. There are some reports about bathrooms getting trashed etc. over a long flight.

Best think about the HKG-BKK flight is most of the passengers do not disembark at BKK, as they are going on to Amman. Luggage carousel is a dream.
