So, can I assume what you actually mean is that you uninstalled the Chrome Browser, so are now using the Edge (Microsoft) Browser, and you are unhappy with the default Bing (Microsoft) search engine?

As @plahgat suggests above, you can use the Google search engine with any browser, and the simplest way is to just go to Google.com

If you want to change the search engine Edge uses normally, that is configurable in Edge under "...", "Settings" and then "Advanced"

For my own use, I prefer the Google search engine, but there are several choices available.

I'm usually fine using Mozilla as browser, and encrypted google as search engine.

For a smooth expeience, i recomend installing some add on such as NoScript, AdBlocker, and other utilities such as Ant Video Downloader, and depending how restricted your country is for streaming/porn etc, you might want to use a VPN service aswell, PUREvpn has a nice integration with firefox.

Personal computer (MAC) use Safari and have google search engine set in the search bar.  No problems, always works-why anyone uses anything other than this I simply do not understand   (kidding-though I am a Mac fan for sure)

Work computer, I have no option, dell pc conventional trash with windows 10.  Edge seems to be factory default set to everything and it totally sucks and is so annoying...even worse than bing!!!   My solution was to remove/unpin edge from both start and task bar and replace it with regular internet explorer and set google as a favorite always display the favorite bar so it is quick click to it.

Tried the chrome version and was reminded of bing and respective uselessness.  When something works, why cant they just leave it alone and let it keep working and being reliable?!?!...See what you did nunchuck...made me go on yet another rant.:o

So you've uninstalled Chrome and want a recommendation.

If you are looking for a browser for windows, you can reinstall chrome, use Internet explorer or Edge - both of which come with windows 10 or install something different such as Mozilla Firefox or Brave.

If you are looking for a good search engine, as said before you can try google.co.uk, bing.com, Yahoo.co.uk or ask.com.  Dogpile is a metasearch engine that compiles a combination of many search engine results and DuckDuckGo is an anonymiser of google results so google does not track what you are searching for.

Hi, you can use DuckduckGo as an alternative search engine. It's more secured than the others.

Basically It's a search engine that doesn't track you. It doesn't collect any info of you. And Doesn't follow you around with ads.

You may give it a try
Good luck with that

Depends what your issues were it may not be browser based.

Give these a try:

Firefox

Chromium (based on chrome)

Brave

I was having issues with Chrome so I uninstalled it & installed Vivaldi & use Startpage as my search engine. Takes a bit of fiddling but I am very happy with both
