Hotel in ko chang

Hi, 

going to go to Ko Chang for 5 night,  what part to go that is most lively  I know it’s quiet compared too patts but need a little bit of action

also looking for 3- 4  star hotel  . Will be taking gf with me 

Also does the mini bus take you direct to Ko Chang or just to ferry port

Had Sai Khao aka White Sand has Little Pattaya.

Kamikaze minibus, AVOID!

Anne Taxi service take you to the ferry for 3000b.

Stayed in Cookies hotel last time i was there, good location, enjoyed my stay.

I just spent a few weeks on the eastern side of the island with family. Beautiful 3 bedroom house with its own beach and pool. You'd probably be bored out of your mind if you stayed other that side as it's extremely quiet, but you may enjoy taking a drive over there in the daytime. 

Youll probably want to stay in White Sands. There's a small bar area and hotels/resorts to suit any budget.
