Any Fashionable & Trendy place? like in Phuket/Samui

Hi,

is there in Pattaya a places like CATCH, CAFE DEL MAR, NIKKI BEACH like in Samui or Phuket ?

Some place where nice people go to have fun, drink wine or champagne . Seems like there is a lot of beautiful Russian girls/guys who visit pattaya im sure they are not interested in English style beer place.

Cozy Beach has gone upscale with a place named 'Chocolate', overlooking the sea. Might be the place you are looking for.

I dont think that any of those are even remotely comparable with the sort of beach-front up-market party location that the OP seems to be looking for. And it's debatable whether some of them can really even be described as "fine dining establishments". The Hilton buffet (which isn't bad for what it is) and the Hard Rock cafe certainly would never qualify.

And by the way, I've been to all of them in shorts.

There was a high-end Champagne bar in Jomtien but it closed, presumably due to lack of interest and high prices.

There is a definite lack of a place like Nikki Beach in Pattaya - plenty of money floating around despite what people think

It will never happen because the illegal substances cannot be controlled - so a huge investment will be lost over night

 No that quality of beach does not exist in Pattaya so no one will build such a place . But there are top end hotels and some good fine dining available. Stay at the new Mytt hotel in executive rooms and get the free hour in the executive lounge drinking bubbly with fabulous service. Free snacks too. The buffet there is pretty awesome but not cheap , serves fresh king crab legs amongst other topline goodies .

 Plenty of good dining around try Gian Restaurant on Thappraya Road , and others mentioned on here previously. And of course the street food is seriously good in Pattaya . Pattaya South Rd at night is good.

When I read this I wondered if "Mytt" was a spell-check error for "Marriot": I've never even heard of Mytt but it does indeed exist as a Google search reveals.

How much is the buffet? Their website says nothing about it. I wonder if they are doing anything special for Xmas?

  The buffet is 2000 Baht and actually really good value for the quality . Yes they have a New Year special but toned down as with all the big hotels out of respect .

Nikki Beach and the like do not rely on a good beach - its more based around a pool - in Pattaya it would need to be in a good location and in my opinion roof top - not many options - maybe Mike Shopping - but I think they have plans for that

Someone has pointed out that in the main Cozy Beach is the area you need to be looking for these things. I wish Chocolate all the best but fllic has failed dismally, only really still open because the owner is a youngish fella with shit loads of cash.
