Malamute Coffee

I recently discovered this cool little coffee shop located right next to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital. In addition to coffee, they serve paninis, vegan fruit bowls, egg breakfasts, smoothies, etc. Staff is fun and friendly and the food is healthy and well-prepared. Check it out if you are in the area.

My favourite thing at Malamute is the Avocado, Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese sandwich for 150B.  The Affogato coffee's pretty special as well.  

Not cheap, but good.

Pretty average brekky but it's cheap. 

 

Coffee is good and the interior is nice and comfy enough.

Anyone ever picked up a nurse in there?  Any tips?   AIUI nurses earn about 15,000 a month, ie 500B a day, so buying them drinks (at the high-ish prices in Malamute) might be welcome.....

Went today at 1.30pm. A few customers but not too busy. 

Eyed the menu but knew what I wanted already. I waved over the service guy and he went and sat down to finish his lunch. Great. 

After I called to him he came over and I pointed to the Chicken Ceasar. Out of stock he said. What the fuck I thought. So what have you got. He pointed to the Smoked Salmon Salad and then the sandwiches. No I said and left. 

Was not impressed but will give it one last try. Might have to get there earlier to beat the lunch rush.
