Travel Agent?

I was looking for a Travel agent in Pattaya, checking for package deal 3 nights 2 days in Hong Kong for flights and hotels only. The Agent/office I use has moved or went out of business? 

Any suggestions?

I can't think of the name of the shop, but I have used them a few times for reservation inside of Thailand, but they also book international flights and hotels.

They are located on Soi Diana on the left side when going up to Soi Buakhao, between the 7-11 and  the hotel next to Subway.

One other good one I have used is on the left just before getting the to Sportsman Restaurant going down Soi 13 from 2nd Road.

If your in soi Buakhao area then have a word with a woman called Lucky at L.R. Travel. her office is opposite sweetheart bar and just before Nicky`s restaurant and the Golden sea hotel.speaks reasonable English .....daytime anyway before the Singha kicks in..55

Does anyone have experience with booking a flight last minute using these agents?

What I mean is, let's say you meet a girl on a trip and want to take her overseas, do you think there would be any open seats during high season? Booking much earlier is the norm I get it, but hard to do if you don't even know the girl.

Except a few days in Christmas, New year and European summer holidays there are always seats available. They are just more expensive closer to departure.

No need to use an agent.

Agents won't have access to any different seats than you, 95% of the time.

I haven't used an agent in years.  Skyscanner.net is a great site to look for flight and is very flexible (eg. Pattaya to Anywhere), although I always end up booking using the airline's website.  Note that Air Asia has a flight to Macau which I have used a few times - can be handy if you want to end up in Hong Kong.

I tend to agree travel agents will be a thing of the past soon. I use Skyscanner to find the flight then book with the airline direct and for hotels always use .Bookings.com

I think the vast majority of people do it like this these days.

Cool, I don't use agents myself but if there are no seats thought they might be a resource.
