I was supposed to fly into Bangkok today. I am presently sitting at home waiting to see how things develop. Hope to be able to fly in beginning of next week. I was wondering what the general oppinion is among you guys, how this situation could be/will be resolved?

This situation, apart from costing untold amounts of money to the Thai economy, is making the government look ineffective all over the world. This loss of face on an international scale will not be tolerated long, expect to see the military and or the Police moving in to retake both airports anytime soon.

I'm hoping for a change in government.. that way the PAD won't still be blocking airports when I visit in Feb.

I just consulted with a knowledgeable adviser and he seems to think that all Thai's will be living in peace and harmony by the 12th of December. Only trouble is he's not sure which year!
