Amadeus

I had a few positive recommendations for Amadeus, so I decided to give it a try.

It's on Jomtien Second Road very near soi 5. It states itself as being a Tapas Bar, Cocktail Lounge, and Gourmet Restaurant. The tapas selection is Italian not Spanish. I have not really made up my mind about the place, despite having been there now. Some things I liked and some things I did not like. 

 

I had a brushetta - Mascarapone with Anchovies and Olives. It was good, but I was not wowed.

 

 

 

I followed that with Clams with Spaghetti. How come no Linguini? Again it was good, but not great. This is a dish I cook at home. I use Little Necks. The clams they use are much smaller and you have to be careful not to swallow the shell. My version is better IMNSHO.

 

 

If one likes this kind of Mediterranean fusion, you might want to give it a try. For me, there are other places I like better.

Accurate review.

Major fail for them is not having menu displayed outside, near sidewalk.

IMO, would be more demand for Spanish or Greek style Tapas, as so many Italian places in Pattaya.
