Nightlife Options with Freelancers in Bangkok (for an Insomnia patron while in Pattaya)

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day I had decent experiences at Levels.

 

Here's the places on my short list as follows:

 

Soi 11:

 

- Levels, Climax, French Restaurant across from Levels (forgot name)

 

Sukhumvit:

 

- Thermae

 

Thermae is okay, girls are very straightforward and openly prefer Asians. However, there can be good experiences, and networking with an Asian-American wingman can be mutually beneficial.

 

Erawan:

 

- Mixx (Underground level of Grand Hyatt)

 

Haven't been recently, but may check it out soon.

 

Other:

 

- RCA (Route 66, et. al.)

I'm more interested in quality and atmosphere over price. (Bangkok is significantly more expensive in comparison to Pattaya, but the feedback I'm looking for is quality, atmosphere, and ambiance).

^^ I believe you will have no luck picking up a girl there unless you are Thai, can speak Thai or are with a Thai person.

 

Another area to check out just for nightlife and 0-1% chance of picking up (Unless Thai etc.) is Thong Lor.

I'm practically fluent in Thai (can speak, read, and write), and have been to RCA and Thong Lor many times while studying at Chulalongkarn.

 

As for Route 66, I believe non-Thai speakers do just fine, and it's more about their demeanor. Also, Thong Lot as well. The difference, in my opinion and experience, is that these are not considered mongering venues in comparison to mainstream Sukhumvit Road venues targeted towards a specific purpose.

A couple of other popular clubs in Bangkok are Onxy, Next 7, Music of Sparks (MOS) and Airport Pub.

No idea if you could pick up there if not Thai but worth a look, and from the pictures I have seen on Facebook there is a lot of silicon there

Thanks, I'm very anti-silicon; I much prefer natural, at any size, but prefer petite ladies.

 

Just returned from S. Boton after shopping for jeans at MBK. Had lunch there, but a fair amount of girls in the fishbowl had silicone.

 

S. Boton is a full service massage place that caters to Thais. Relaxed and enjoyed my lunch, but passed on the ladies.

Insanity isnt on your list but i imagine you know of it and just didnt list it for some reason. For sure get back into mixx i havent been there last couple years but some of my hottest pick ups were there. 

 

Funky villa is good if you speak Thai and have game and are in the younger demographic. Next door is demo which is loaded with hiso Thais. Doubt you'd pickup tgere but the girls are absurdly hot. These arent freelancer clubs though just clubs loaded with absurdly hot Thai girls with thai music. Both in Thonglor. 

 

Shock 39 used to be open late and has freelancers. Spicy nightclub in BKK if you tell a taxi spicy theyll take you i think is still open late. I've never encountered any hot girls in spicy but its all hookers in there!

None of these places even come close to Insomnia/Ibar for freelance fun. Of them all Levels and Mixx are probably the best.
