Korean Air Pilots Strike

I just got an email informing me of a Korean Air pilots strike 22 - 31 December. Lucky me, my flight is right in the middle of those dates.

 

"numerous cancellations and schedule changes will occur. We apologize for any inconvenient"

Good luck. I often start my trip from Chicago (my hometown) or Des Moines (my new town). Usually stop in LA tho.  You can get a cheap hotel with airport transfer near ICN on Agoda, around $25. If they get you on a flight to ORD to ICN, maybe book that kind of room just in case. Korean Air should take care of you but maybe worth blowing $25 bucks to have a back up place to sleep for a night if ICN is a mad house when you get there. Again, good luck.
