Yep Boomerang was going to be my suggestion. Location is good about ten minutes brisk walk to beach road.

D hotel and D apartments both have 2 seater sofa, room service, swimming pool, etc. Balcony rooms are 1000 baht, same price in D apartments non balcony in D apartments are 700 baht tho, those prices were at the front desk at the end of September, price is higher on Agoda, but still reasonable. Great location in a quiet Soi too.

D hotel has some good reviews and at 7000 per week for standard room thats good value. Booked for 3 weeks in March.

August Suites has a 2 seater sofa.

Churchill: "Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?"
Socialite: "My goodness, Mr. Churchill... Well, I suppose... we would have to discuss terms, of course... "
Churchill: "Would you sleep with me for five pounds?"
Socialite: "Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!"
Churchill: "Madam, we've already established that. Now we are haggling about the price”

There is a guesthouse/bar next door to boomerang and from memory both room types they advertised had sofas pictured, cant recall the name though, anyone know?

Also Hideaway Guesthouse which is very close to Boomerang has sofas in their top end rooms from memory

The LK's all have decent sofa's and a chaise lounge for those particular  naughty moments.  :WinkGrin1:

You're here now where you should have been all along.

yes but its only the higher end rooms with sofa so for it to fall in the budget range the OP is wanting it would have to be one of their lower end locations, im not sure what the actual bidget range is but when he says too pricey i just assume empress, ren, president, royal and metropole are out of the question
