The Justice Ministry has named a prominent forensic doctor, Khunying Dr Porntip Rojanasunan, as an advisor to the committee probing into the death of a detainee.

This woman, Khunying Porntip, is about as straight an arrow as you will find in Thailand .. maybe anywhere .. looking at her "in your face establishment" fashion style, you'd never guess it, eh?

She formerly headed the Thai Central Institute of Forensic Science, maybe the equivalent to the FBI's famous forensic investigation division, where she kicked some serious ass .. a heat seeking missile.

Crooked politicians and bureaucrats and powerful influential people did not want to see her investigating crimes in which they were implicated.

She was unceremoniously forced out by the Yingluck politicians because she was solving too many crimes against powerful crooks.

Hope she one day returns to that role .. she is a bright shining light in otherwise bleak Thai jurisprudence.
