Rungroj Thainiyom, who burst into his prominence after winning the Thailand’s gold medal in the men’s table tennis singles (Class 6) in London four years ago, had to be content with bronze medal at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro following a convincing 3-0 (11-4 11-4 11-4) victory over South Korean Park Hongkyu in the third-place playoff on Sunday.
