Azzzey, this seems to be an Embassy directive and not via any court i.e. nos not extradition as he isnt in the UK now.

 

I would assume he has the right to mount legal challenges.

 

Also isnt it undermined by the fact that he has a diplomatic passport which doesn't really need a visa - or does it?

 

I have a feeling it is going to be a lot more complicated than this BBC report suggests.
