Well, day 2 of the last major of the year. Poor start from McIlroy but he's battling now to not miss the cut so as to play the weekend. Should be a good couple of hours viewing now. Current Open champ DJ on 9+ has packed his bags.

 

The course looks a fair but difficult test. Good to see Sky presenter Rich Beem making the cut and he seemed over the moon.

I think McIlroy needs to see a sports psychologist after the way he played the last hole. At least he's got the weekend off now, very disappointing
