I do love striding around markets, particularly secondhand markets.

I quite enjoyed the Friday night secondhand markets in Pattaya, dont ask me where it was, i think Third Rd ?

But i went every week religiosly, the stall holders werent chasing you to buy like other places and let you casually look and ponder .

Of course the Sou Bukhao markets on weekly but a lot of new items there and same old stuff.

I went to the big Chatachuk markets in Bangkok last year but was a disapoitnent.

I guess the most exciting ? Markets i have been to were in Burma ... Omg

Best market I have come across is the Threppasit night market in Jomtien. Where you have Tesco's on the Sukhumvit Road - the Outlet Mall just next door. First left is the Threppasit Road on a Fri, SAt & Sun from 7 PM onwards. Absolutley huge and some good bargains to be had.

a little distance down the same road there is a car boot type market every night from about 6pm well worth a look IMO.
