Where we can eat real pancake in pattaya?

Breakfast buffets do pancakes, only I don't think it's real maple syrup.

 

I buy Canadian maple syrup in the UK unfortunately it's very expensive which is why you might not find it in Thailand.

Odds are, what most people refer to as 'maple syrup' is just dark colored corn syrup with some flavorings added.  

 

100% pure maple syrup seems awful expensive for the crowd around here.

Robin's Nest has pancakes, or a Western breakfast that includes pancakes. While the menu states 'with maple syrup', not sure if it's genuine (I like to refrain from excessive sweets).

 

Indoor is a comfortable non-smoking atmosphere, with friendly staff.

100% pure maple syrup seems awful expensive for the crowd around here.

So is extra virgin olive oil, around 400 baht a bottle, so reasonable for our local kitchens, but expensive for Thais.

 

This is why I like to refrain from, or minimize, deep fried and/or oily dishes. Some places, however, offer a nice steamed fish (ปลากระโป่งหนึ่งมะนาว) oil-free.

 

I agree, authentic maple syrup in Pattaya is unlikely.

Golf Club and Tigglebitties both offer pancakes and also have waffles. The American Restaurant in The Avenue (if it's still open) had good pancakes.

 

I believe Pastrami and Rye also has pancakes

not like these, fantastic.  Lines to get in and every actor in BH goes there.   to die for.   If you dont know them then you go in the afternoon or wait more than an hour for a seat

I had Norwegian bacon pancakes at Linda's in Jomtien yesterday. First time I've had sugar on bacon ☺️

They came with a small bowl of yellow pea soup.

195 baht lunch special.

Sutus court soi bukhao. This is the real deal (home made american pancakes), many of the other restaurants advertising american pancakes just buy some ready made pancakes in the supermarket and heat them up in the microwave oven.
