hi please can anyone tell me if they have stopped on the sunshine hotel on soi8 and what is the hotel like and location?

Big room, walk a gauntlet to and from your room, lots of Euro's go there I noticed, well, lots of everyone. Small pool, good service, no idea on room service or quality of food, has an internet cafe and shit in the culdesac sort of area next to it.

Do not waste your money and time at sunshine.

It is rather expensive,especially the rooms at the new wing.

Why not just stay at eastiny plaza at soi 8 just opposite sunshine hotel.

Standard room cost around 1300baht.It has room service, a nice swimming pool.

And it is relatively new. More value for money and breakfast also inclusive.

I used to stay in the sunshine and liked it.

Price for the main hotel is fairly reasonable.

Service and everything else ok.

Reception girls didn't speak english which can make more complicated requests a bit difficult.

If you want to stay on soi8 its not a bad option.

I booked through Sawadee.com and just got back from a 2 week stay at Sunshine. Paid 950 a night with breakfast included and every 7th day is free. The residence wing was great. Maid service was spot on and it was more than adequate for my needs.

Stayed there in May. Room had no view, noisy A/C Shower was bolloxed. DVD channel kept getting interuptions of video of king and royal family... minibar ok. Beds clean and kept tidy by staff. Pool I found water too warm. Didnt try breakfast...went round corner to Pig and Whistle...well worth it.

Sunshine is Good ,Ive stayed a couple of times,But the Eastiny is better. Last time I stayed at Sunshine but I allways ate at Eastiny, More for your money at Eastiny

I'm staying at the Galaxy suite in soi Diamond above heavens above.

 

Price is very high at 900B a night.

But its the best location in pattay in my opinion, right in the middle of Walking Street.

And the free wi-fi is the best i've expriecned in pattaya (which isn't that high of a recomendation).

 

But mainly its a very small hotel. 11 rooms?

and I know the staff.

 

What i really like is being able to shag a BG until 7pm and still get my room cleaned and washing done.

They are the only place i've been that has cleaning staff 24/7.

 

But you pay for what you get, and if you don't want the location or the cleaning/smalll hotel you can pay a lot less.

Soi diamond on second road (not same as the one on walking street) is a good palce to find budget accomodation that has everything but location.
