as above dont want to get ripped off panviman are quoting 1500 baht which seems very extortionate.

Thought mae rim was about 25 minute drive from the airport. Seems way over the top.

1500 baht is definitely a rip off price.

 

I'd be willing to bet that if you just landed here and asked at the airport, it would be maybe 400-500 baht at most.
