16 year old killed in Shooting close to Chinese Burial Site in East Pattaya.

 

In the early hours of Friday Morning, Medical Staff at the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya admitted a 16 year old man who had been badly injured following a shooting incident near a Chinese Burial Site located in Soi Siam Country Club. The young man sustained a gun shot wound to his stomach and despite the best efforts of medical staff; he later died from his injuries. Police Lieutenant Jirasak from Banglamung Police Station was assigned to the case and spoke with a 13 year old friend of the victim who was riding as passenger on a motorbike driven by the victim. The boy explained that the pair was driving home when a White Mitsubishi Strada Pick-up drove beside them and the driver shot at the victim. The witness mentioned that a 16 year old girl, who was known to him, was riding on the back of the pick-up. The witness claims that a few days before, the victim was approached by a man who claimed to be the boyfriend of the 16 year old girl seen on the back of the pick-up. He warned the victim that if he was seen speaking with her in the future, he would be killed. Although the identity of the shooter is not clear, it is thought that the man, who threatened the victim with his life only days before the shooting, may be responsible. The investigation continues.
