2 women seriously injured in Sukumvit Road crash.

 

On Thursday Morning Police were called to the scene of a serious road accident which occurred on the Sukumvit Road in South Pattaya. The crash involved a Blue Mercedes Benz driven by Mr. Edward Werner aged 71 from Germany and a motorbike driven by Khun Wichien aged 57 with Khun Nokgaew aged 24 riding as passenger. Both were seriously injured when the car apparently collided with the Bike at high speed, according to eye witness accounts. According to Mr. Werner, the motorbike was initiating a u-turn maneuver and he was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision with the bike. Police are investigating the crash further before they press charges.
