Anyone stayed at the Ambassador in Soi 11 of late and is it any good?

Last time I looked at comments on the place they were not good, its very old and tired, depends on the price, would not pay more than B1500

Thanks Splitpin after reading that again might pass, just want somewhere cheap on Soi 11 for a Night.

If you stay in the Ambassador get a Tower room not one in the original building.

Even 12 years ago that was the way to go!

Stayed in a Tower room, cheap and cheerful, OK pool, short hop from climax! Staff pretty rude, tried to charge me 2000 for early book in though they did look after my bags.

 

Wouldn't book again, In Soi 11 I Have stayed in President Palace , Grand President and Grand Swiss, of those I would stay in PP and Grand Swiss, though I did book club rooms when I was used them.

I like the Ambassador. Rooms aren't great but the hotel itself is interesting and the breakfast isn't bad. There's also about 20 dodgy massage places within about 50 metres of the hotel.

Its old and too tired hotel.

 

Stayed 3 years backand have not heard of any renovations so....

A lot of options there
