Hi....does anyone have any experience with drone flying in Pattaya, particularly with regard to the law and the BIB. Just wondering if there are any possible problems to be encountered?

Seriously, you should be OK but be aware that it could go tits up if someone objects to what you are doing. Don't fly near people's houses!

There's been a couple of prior discussions on the board about legality of drone flying in Thailand.

 

After camera drones were used to document goings-on to the Authorities disadvantage in the Late Great Unpleasantness, new regulations were put in place to severely restrict their use.

Basically, flying a drone with a camera became practically illegal without special authorization from the Powers That Be.
