Just heard he has been found guilty and sent to Jail.

 

Will there be any repercussions in LOS?

He's in the UK.

 

He hasnt been jailed. He's been sentanced to two years in prison. But as he's done a runner to the UK I doubt he'll serve them.

My apologies, UK radio station claiming he is in Thailand but other sources state he is in UK.

 

Sorry again.

 

But the original question still stands, how will the verdict affect the current troubles in BKK?

Don't think he'll be back for his complimentary in the Bangkok Hilton then will he. Having said that. Don't think we've seen the last of him in Thailand for some reason.

I agree that as he is not in LOS he will not be back but will the riots in Bkk over the past week or so between those for and against him intensify?

THAKSIN was in the UK when the guilty verdict was announced. He has been given a 2 year jail sentence.His wife has been accquited.

 

So she will probably come back to thailand,and he will come back in 2 years when it all blows over.

 

Just another case of 1 rule for the rich.

On the BBC website it states that his wife has been acquitted on this charge. But here 3 year sentance she received a few months ago still stands
