Kamagra oral jelly out of prod and banned?

I was in the pharmacy in the Buakhao and Diana intersection last night and asked for Karmagra gel. According to the older lady there, Kamagra oral jelly is no longer produced and is now illegal in Thailand. She could only offer me Sidegra. She seemed to know what she was talking about.

 

Any info on this?

Pharmacy next to Tim's bar on second road. She will ask 1500 baht and you must reply that you can buy them on Soi6 for 1200 and she will say ok. Try 1100 baht first, maybe i paid too much :-)

I doubt very much that production has stopped as it is produced in India. I can't understand how they can say that it is banned when it is the same thing as Sidegra. Perhaps it is being done to give the local company a commercial advantage but that is a pretty low act.

I thought when they launched their own generic Sideagra they declared all the other generics illegal...well thats what the article posted on Thaivisa said anyway.

In pharmacies they often dish up that kind of stories if they don’t have something.
Move on and try the next pharmacy.

The pharmacy next to the Tin Cup Restaurant which has a big Viagra & Cialis sign out front sells Kamagra jelly, bought some last week when I was there. 200 baht for 3. Works great for me.

Sounds like rubbish and I agree with Scumbag and ontheedge. No idea why an Indian company would stop producing an item they must sell millions of.... Could indeed be a  way to increase sales of Sidagra (which does work fine for having tried it once), but on the other hand why don't seem to be cracking down on zillion similar knockoffs.

 

I hope that story is just bullshit from a pharmacist that ran out. Not sure why, but as I never take the full 100 pills (they make me nauseous), gel is a lot easier than trying to cut a pill when you're drunk and it goes down a lot smoother... Plus they don't taste all that bad, well, most of them...Will ask the guy next to Bully's pub when I go back to BKK, they usually have a few hundred boxes lying out back.

A lot of the pharmacies on Sukhumvit road in Bangkok are now out of Kamagra and are telling customers that they can not get it anymore.
