According to Major General Khattiya Sawasdipol, who is close to the government, a military putsch will be met by strong resistance from pro-government factions.

 

This was in response to the recent appearance of Army leaders wearing full military uniform on TV

how is it going to affect the new tourist , i have my plan to visit thai land next week, some one suggest me should i be there or post pone it or things are normal admist a coup

Coups definitely bugger up the night life for a couple of days.

Sorry to trivialise, but the last one is my only knowledge, I know things can get out of hand, only takes a few loonies.
