'Resting bitch face is real, says scientists.' Or why would I want to go back to Ibar?

My friends and I passed through "Ibar" tonight, and were confronted by what has become known in the modern world as "Resting bitch face". This was known in my youth as the "I smell shit!" or "Do you smell shit?" look. This is a most disturbing trend, as it indicates that Thai ladies are being influnced by western gender bias at an alarming rate.

Perhaps even more alarming, these same women were only two or three hours prior happy to greet us and provide excellent service.
